De toepassing van oude bouwmaterialen in de bouw en verbouw van panden is een ontwikkeling die aan alle kanten positief is.Hergebruik is milieuvriendelijk, oude bouwmaterialen die nog gaaf of restaureerbaar zijn , barsten van karakter, bezieling en schoonheid.
Door de ontwerper, de maker en de kwaliteit van de materialen.
Leg een antieke mozaiektegel naast een nieuwe en het is direct voelbaar..........
Zet een oude paneeldeur naast een nieuwe en het is direct voelbaar.........
Kijk naar een vloer uit antiek hout of naar een nieuw houten vloer en het is direct voelbaar.............
Aanschouw een antieke kast van 200 jaar oud met aandacht( los van de stijl of houtsoort) en bekijk een nieuwe kast en het is direct voelbaar............
Kwaliteit en liefde voor het vakmanschap 'komt binnen in je hart', is puur, eerlijk en bezield.
De bezieling van historische bouwmaterialen 'doet iets' wat niet nagemaakt kan worden, en dat is maar goed ook.
Schoonheid ontstaat door processen tijd te geven, te laten rijpen, rust en aandacht te gunnen,
daar kan niets tegen op. Kwaliteit overwint uiteindelijk altijd.
De huidige, op de voorgrond staande, tendens van de laatste 30 jaar ,waarin voor een groot deel snel, goedkoop en vooral veel geproduceerd wordt, levert een enorme hoeveelheid kwantiteit en mist kwaliteit.
In verhouding levert dit vaak goedkope productieproces niemand iets positiefs op.
Lage lonen werk in China en India, snel en trendy produceren, korte termijn succes, het is zielloos en respectloos.
Enige doel is:geld verdienen voor de leveranciers...................ten koste van puurheid, eerlijkheid en vakmanschap.
Respectloos naar de producenten en de afnemers.
Respectloos naar de schepping.
Want duurzaamheid ontbreekt, kwaliteit ontbreekt, tijd om te rijpen en rusten ontbreekt, bezieling ontbreekt............kortom er zal geen schoonheid en karakter worden gevoeld .
Producenten, ontwerpers en leveranciers die ook nu, kiezen voor duurzaamheid en kwaliteit, voor vakmanschap en creativiteit, eerlijke processen en respectvolheid naar de schepping, vinden gelukkig ook hun weg en laten zien dat schoonheid van alle tijden is.
Wat zij creeren zal overleven, bestaansrecht verwerven en schoonheid oproepen.
Als binnenhuisarchitect zie ik het als mijn taak, zoveel mogelijk schoonheid in een interieur te verwezenlijken.
In welke stijl het interieur ook wordt aangekleed, vanuit welke visie of levenswijze dan ook, altijd
gaat het er om dat de keuze van het interieur gebaseerd is op 'wat binnen komt in je hart'.
Wat raakt, ontroert, inspireert, blijdschap en vervulling geeft, bezieling en karakter uitstraalt,
met liefde en rust is gemaakt , roept harmonie op.
Wat kwaliteit heeft en duurzaam ontwikkeld is roept respect op.
Historische bouwmaterialen dragen zeker bij aan het verwezenlijken van schoonheid in een interieur.
Het gaat om de dosering ervan............niet teveel, niet te weinig.
Het gaat om de toepassing ervan............wat kan wel in het ene pand en niet in het andere.
Stijlbreuk kan soms boeiend zijn, maar meestal wordt dan het evenwicht verstoord, waardoor
geen schoonheid zal ontstaan.
Deze dosering en toepassing vragen vakkennis en inzicht in wat een ruimte nodig heeft en kan hebben.
Historische bouwmaterialen dragen ook bij aan het besef dat kwaliteit overleeft, karakter wint en bezieling voedsel is voor onze ziel.
Zij verbinden door hun geschiedenis verleden, heden en toekomst.
Zij zijn door hun uitstraling tijdloos en van alle tijden.
Het is een voorrecht ze te ontmoeten of te vinden , te herkennen en te mogen toepassen.
Ook de mensen die deze materialen zoeken, vinden, restaureren, toepassen zijn bijzonder.Enerzijds doordat ze vanuit hun hart werken, er met liefde en geduld alle aandacht aan geven, genieten van de panden waar ze een nieuw leven krijgen, anderzijds door hun passie en respect voor de schoonheid ervan.
Het is een voorrecht ook hun te mogen ontmoeten of te vinden, te herkennen en van hen te leren.

Recycling is environmentally friendly, old building materials still intact or restorable are bursting with character, passion and beauty.
By the designer, the maker and the quality of the materials.
Place an ancient mosaic tile next to a new and directly felt ..........
Put an old panel door next to a new and directly felt .........
Look at a floor of antique wood or to a new wooden floor and directly felt .............
See a 200 year old antique wardrobe with attention (regardless of style or type of wood) and view a new cabinet and it is immediately noticeable ............
Quality and attention to craftsmanship "enters your heart", is pure, honest and inspired.
The spirit of historic building materials 'do something' which can not be imitated, and that's just as well.
Beauty arises from giving time to processes, to mature, to grant peace and attention .
There can be hold nothing against it. Quality ultimately always wins.
The current trend in which largely quickly, cheaply is produced and above all lots, delivers a tremendous amount of fog quantity and quality.
Low-wage work in China and India, fast and fashionable produce ,short-term success, it's soulless and disrespectful.
Only goal is to make money for the suppliers ................... at the cost of purity, honesty and professionalism.
Disrespectful to the producers and consumers.
Disrespectful to creation
Because sustainability is lacking, lacking quality, time to mature and rest is lacking, inspiration is missing............ in short: there will not be felt beauty and character.
Producers, designers and suppliers who now opt for durability and quality, craftsmanship and creativity, fair trials and respect for the fullness of creation, are happy their way and show that beauty is of all times.
What they create will survive, gain legitimacy.
As an interior designer, I see it as my job as much as possible to achieve an interior beauty.
In which style the interior is also decorated , from what vision and way of life whatsoever,
it is always about the choice of interior design based on "what comes to your heart.
What touches, moves, inspires, gives joy and fulfillment, radiates passion and character,is made,with love and peace , calls for harmony.
What has quality and sustainable been developed calls for respect.
Historic building materials contribute greatly to achieving beauty in an interior.
It is about their doses ............ not too much, not too little.
It is about the application ............ what can be in one building and not in another.
Style Failure can sometimes be fascinating, but mostly it disturbs the balance, so no beauty will arise.
Historic building materials also contribute to the realization that quality survives, character wins and passion is food to our souls.
They connect through their past history, present and future.
They are by their appearance timeless and of all times.
Also the people that s search, find, restore and use these material are special.
One hand because they work from their hearts with love and patience to provide full attention there, they are enjoying the premises where they get a new life, on the other hand by their passion and respect for its beauty.
It is also a privilege to meet them or to find them, to recognize them and learn from them.
